First Communion Preparation

We celebrate two sacraments at Central Lutheran Church: Baptism and Communion. Communion is the time when we eat bread and drink wine with other believers to remember what Jesus did on the cross for us.

Participating in Communion is a big step in the faith journey of our children. Any child, whose parents feel they are ready, can particpate in our two hour First Communion Class that is offered.  After receiving the training, we will then acknowledge the big moment when a child has their First Communion at the worship celebration of their choosing.  Here are the dates of when this class will be offered…

Sunday, October 10 @ 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Sunday, January 16 @ 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Wednesday, April 20 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
